Linear Low-Density Polyethylene/High-Density Polyethylene
Shaw provides engineering and other services in support of NOVA Chemicals' SCLAIRTECH™ and Advanced SCLAIRTECH linear low- and high-density polyethylene technology. Shaw, in conjunction with NOVA Chemicals, promotes the licensing of SCLAIRTECH technology. This technology features advantages that include lower operating costs, the ability to make a large number of high-performance tailored polyethylene products and rapid transitions between product grades with minimum production of off-specification material.
Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS)
Shaw offers SABIC-IP's emulsion and mass ABS technologies for license. Recognized for strong health, safety and environmental compliance, the technologies are cost-competitive, reliable and have exceptional product capability. ABS is a thermoplastic used to make light, rigid, molded products for the electronics and automotive industries.
Polysilicon
Shaw provides integration expertise, detailed engineering, proprietary equipment procurement and installation for manufacturing plants that make solar-grade polysilicon with a purity level of 99.99999 percent. Polysilicon is an important component of photovoltaic - or solar - technology, which converts sunlight into electric energy.
